- What do you like about blogging?
The thing that I like the most about blogging is it provides medium to pour my feelings, ideas and thoughts. It also allows me to say out my dissatisfactions and frustrations in form of writing rather than saying it out. By putting those things in words made me feel better and relieved. Hence, it avoids me from getting stressed and tensed up. Besides, blogging allows me to reflect back on what had happened and give some thoughts on that. Blogging really provides me the freedom to write anything that I want.
- What you do not like about blogging?
What I don’t like about blogging is the choice of fonts is very limited. I can’t get my favourite font in the compose. Moreover, there are no symbols provided that I can add in my post such as smiley, etc.
- What have you gained from blogging eg. Language skills, improved fluency, critical thinking, improved thought processes, technology skills etc.
My technology skills have improved a lot. I learned varieties of internet skills, audio editing, video making, etc.
Now, I know a few software that can be used in audio editing. Besides that, I learned to use the software to edit audio such as removing noises, cutting, etc. Moreover, I also know how to produce video using Movie maker and Photoscape as before this I know nothing about video making.
- What do you like about this course?
What I like about this course is it taught me to use varieties of technology skills to design teaching aids such as e-book and video. Hence, through the skills that have been taught I can apply it in designing teaching aids for my pupils later on. The skills taught allow me to vary my teaching aids and prepare me to be a technology savvy teacher.
- What you do not like about this course?
There is nothing that I do not like about this course as I am really into it. I feel that this course is very beneficial and useful for us.
- What have you learnt from this course?
I have learned a lot from this course. I learned to design teaching aids such as e-book, audio, designing video, photo editing, etc. Besides, I also got to know about software and learned how to use it. Before this, I have zero knowledge about all this things.
- What have you learnt from this course that you did not expect to?
The thing that I do not expect to learn from this class is on photo editing. This is because at first I thought that skills about photo editing have nothing to do with our teaching field.
- What have u expected but do not learn from this course?
I think so far there is nothing that I expected but do not learn from this course.
- If you can change anything about this course, state what is and elaborate?
It would be better if we are sending for workshops on how to use software for audio editing, video making, photo editing, etc. We will have better knowledge on using the software rather than we explore it on our own.
- On a scale of 1 – 10, please rate your computing and technological skills for both before and after undergoing the course.
Surprisingly, it is the last week of the semester already. It means that this course (PBEY3102) has reached the end. I feel so sad when thinking that this course is over.
Talking about the last week of the course, there were nothing much to describe. On that day, Pn. Foziah shared some stories with us that really motivated me to go to overseas. Hopefully, one day I can to abroad to further my studies besides learning about other people’s country. Leaving abroad can teach us many new things besides gaining invaluable experience.
On that day, we also discussed on planning and designing lesson plan with Pn. Foziah. From the discussion, I realized how important it is to learners. It can give big impact to learners and that’s why we should plan a proper yet effective lesson plans for children. In the discussion, Pn. Foziah highlighted the things that she will look in a lesson plan. One of the most important things in lesson planning is the usage of teaching aids. Teaching aids should be interesting and attractive to engage children to the lesson. Besides, teaching aids should be variety and come from technological and non-technological materials.
Here, I would like to thank Pn. Foziah for everything. I have learned a lot from this course and the knowledge and skills I gained I will apply and use it wisely. This course really prepares me to be a technology savvy teacher in future. Hence, I am grateful to be in this class and looking for more courses that can provide this kind of knowledge and skills for future teachers.

Next week is already week 14. Huh...how fast the time flies. Next week will be our last week for this semester. I am sure I am going to miss this semester a lot. There are a lot of things that I experienced and learned during this semester. This semester has made me grown older and wiser. Talking about the class on week 13, we were supposed to submit our second assignment which is on teaching aids. However, it is postponed to next week as there are some additional teaching aids that we need to add which is using Microsoft Publisher.
Besides that, the extra time given is very useful as we can improve on our work previously so that it will be better. I would like to thank Pn. Foziah a lot for the postponement. There was no lesson on that day due to internet connection failure. Therefore, basically we used the remaining hour to discuss about the teaching aids on Microsoft Publisher with our group. Moreover, the time left we used to clarify and asked anything that we confused to Pn. Foziah.

The class on that day was really fun. We all gathered and sat together to watch videos produced by our friends. Some of the videos were very funny and interesting. Some of the videos were about cohort 4, our journey, foods from Terengganu, making sandwich, etc. Most of the videos gave us impacts as when watching it we felt so closed and touched. There were lessons that we learned from the videos. I could see that all of us had done their best and put a lot of efforts in producing it. Talking about my video, I would like to thank my partner for giving his fullest cooperation to produce the video. From my experience, I would say that it is not easy to produce a video. Besides, I don’t have many skills in that area. However, I learned a lot from my partner as while working together I was able to learn from him. Personally, I was quite impressed on him as he is doing well in that area. Besides, I also learned nothing is impossible if we are determined.

We are in the eleventh week already. We have a few weeks more to go before the semester ends. I can’t believe that this semester is almost over and we will be in new semester soon. Talking about what we had done in recourses class, we were listening to our friends’ power point presentation on the journals about the use of technology. Upon hearing the presentations, I gained better knowledge and information about the researches done on the topic. Thanks a lot to my friends for giving us such clear and brief presentations about the journals.
After the presentations had done, we were reminded about our deadlines for assignment 2 and assignment 3. Frankly speaking, I have forgotten about the assignments. The same thing happened to my friends. Therefore, we quickly form groups for the assignments and get into our group to discuss about the assignments. In the group, we have divided our tasks equally so that everyone is working for the assignments.
Pn. Foziah was not well on that day. She looked so pale and kept on coughing. I felt really pity for her as she looked so weak. However, she still attended the class for us. I hope that she’s recovering from sickness and getting well soon.

I enjoyed celebrating Hari Raya with my family very much... There were lots of my favourite foods during Hari Raya such as rendang, tapai, etc and I couldn’t miss them all... I feel like I don’t want to leave my home.... But what can I do... I have to sacrifice for the sake of my studies.... I still have a few days more to enjoy and spend time with my family... Thus, I will enjoy to the max and use the time left wisely... Talking about resources class last week, we were shown a video clip that was really meaningful to us....The music itself was so touching and left some impact to me....The video clip was about what a man needs from a woman.... After watching it, I realized that there are a lot of things that we can’t take for granted.... I enjoyed a lot watching the video and I feel like watching it again... I am going to get the video clip from computer that Pn. Foziah had inserted... On that day, we were released earlier because many of us were absent.... I am sure that they were all in Raya mood and most of them were back in their hometown already... Thank God, I bought the ticket earlier so that I won’t miss any classes...
